10am with picnic lunch from 12–1:30pm

As has become a MORE tradition, the summer season wraps up with a picnic! This time the venue is the Wolcott Farm area, featuring the Wolcott Mill, the Rotary Park observatory, and plenty of trails to enjoy, including the mill race trail at Wolcott Mill. Be sure to arrive by 10am to see the cows milked, and later in the morning enjoy Bob Berta’s sun telescope at the observatory. Bob will be set up from 10:30am–12pm. The picnic itself will be held at the Farm Center pavilion from 12–1:30pm with box lunch provided. There is no limit to the fun!

Location: Wolcott Farm and Mill area is located near the intersection of 29 Mile and Wolcott Roads at 65775 Wolcott Rd., Ray 48096. From south to north this area includes Rotary Park, the Mill itself, and the Farm.

Important Information: There will be an additional charge of $20 for the picnic and is limited to 60 participants. A link to maps will be provided to registrants via email. Those without a Metropark pass will have to purchase a day pass to enter the park.
